Joseph H. Johnston: "The first one shows the Texas-shaped scoreboard that they used in the '70s.  The large object off to the right is the PA speaker.     David Clyde was the Rangers' pitcher.  He was a young kid rookie that year who had come up and had an outstanding first outing, and since he was from Texas (Houston, I think) and had done so well, 21,000 people showed up.  We had less that great seats down the first-base line, since we went there on impulse.  We had not ordered tickets ahead of time. The Rangers won 4-3.
