Sun City Stadium had a very busy schedule. After the Brewers went home to Milwaukee, the Sun City Saints professional women's team played throughout the summer. The Saints continued to draw crowds that reached into the thousands. According to "Uncle John Poja" who sold souvenirs at the stadium, "Everyone was just crazy about the Saints. There was nothing else like it. People in the stands brought cow bells and honked horns at the games".*Jacque Pappas Daily News-Suns Staff.
