Huntington Avenue Grounds had a capacity of about 11,500 fans compared to the Braves' stunning and very "well appointed" South End Grounds, which was pretty close to that mark at 10k. Red Sox fans could see that with their own eyes by just looking over these 1st base bleachers. The only thing separating the two ballparks was the railroad tracks of the New Haven, Hartford and New York lines. If you were willing to take a quick jump over the railway, you could catch yourself a double-header.
