It's hard to believe that they continued to play at the Pill Box every day except Sunday and holidays for 7 years. Finally after 1909 they moved permanently to Lexington Park. The Pill Box would go on to become a famous ice skating rink called the Ball Park Ice Rink and served for national competition. It did much better as an ice rink than a ballpark, but again… for 7 years… this was the home of American Association Baseball, so we have to give it a little respect… just a little.
