Minneapolis built Metropolitan Stadium, which would indeed attract a Major League team, as Washington D.C.'s Senators moved to the Northwoods. Milwaukee built County Stadium which attracted the Braves to move out of Boston and to the Brew City. St. Paul in turn built Midway Stadium… a utilitarian ballpark at best and one that could be easily expanded for Major League Baseball, but was only 7000 seats.
